New Liverpool signing - Oxlade-Chamberlain

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has affirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has signed for the club.

Carragher composed on his Twitter page: "Attempted to influence AOC to join @LFC when he was a child, clearly Klopp is more influential! Intrigued how he gets him into CM after Sunday!!"

Oxlade-Chamberlain did his medicals with Liverpool on Wednesday evening, after the two clubs concurred an expense of £40million , according to Sky sources.

The 24-year-old is set to join Liverpool on a five-year deal after the two clubs struck an agreement.

The player turned down another deal at Arsenal not long ago which would have seen him gain £180,000 a week. He will gain at least £120,000 a week at Anfield, a figure which could increment with win rewards and devotion installments.

The Gunners concurred to an agreement with Chelsea for Oxlade-Chamberlain prior this week, yet the midfielder rejected the opportunity to join the Blues for a move to Anfield.
