Transfer: Barcelona make improved bid for Willian

Catalan giants Barcelona have now placed a third bid of around £55million for Chelsea winger, Willian.

Barcelona have had two bids rejected this summer for the 29-year-old.

The La Liga giants’ first bid of £50m was followed up with another of around £53m.

Sky Sports reports that Barcelona now hope to finally land the winger with a bid in the region of £55m.

Manchester United are also interested in signing the Brazilian but Chelsea would rather sell the winger abroad.

The Brazil international is on holiday after Brazil’s quarter-final exit from the World Cup.

Chelsea’s new manager, Maurizio Sarri admitted in his first press conference for the club that he will wait to speak to players in person before deciding their futures.
